Telecommuting for the Disabled Advisory Council

ccp page 10The council is an affiliation of for-profit and non-profit organizations with an interest in fostering work-at-home and telecommuting job opportunities for the differently abled. We hope to connect parties that are interested in networking to match people who want to work and deliver value through legitimate work-at-home jobs.

We also readily make ourselves available to the news media as expert sources. If you are a reporter, please feel free to reach out to our council members and let us know your deadline. In some cases, we may be able to provide a speaker for your event.

Bright Pattern is pleased to sponsor the council and provide a home for it on the web. We also enabled our call center software with a number of features for users with blindness.

Contact us if you need a speaker for an event, or an expert source for your story. Contact member agencies directly, below, if you are looking to hire virtual contact center staff.

National Telecommuting Institute

National Telecommuting Institute, NTI was founded in 1995 as a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization. NTI has pursued a mission to identify and develop work-at-home jobs for home-based Americans who are physically disabled.

Since that time, NTI has provided trained work-at-home employees to some of the largest U.S. government agencies, Fortune 500 companies and to smaller businesses who want to outsource customer service and technical support operations in order to reduce costs.

Today, NTI has three divisions. Each of these divisions works with Americans with Disabilities to find sustainable employment. The NTI@Home division currently has over 500 Americans with Disability working in at home jobs as technical support representatives, contact center agents and medical transcriptionists.
