Once you establish a connection to a third-party database, you can use its data to automate identification, prioritization, screen pop, self-service, and more—all from Scenario Builder, our drag-and-drop-enabled application for creating automated scenarios (i.e., workflows). In scenarios, SQL statements are executed on a specific database in order to retrieve specific data (e.g., name, phone number, etc.). Building data retrieval into your automated processes is easy.
MANAGE DB CONNECTIONS
Database connections are managed in Scenario Builder as well, where you can quickly add new connections and edit the SQL statements of existing connections. Using SQL statements and variables, you tell the scenarios where to get data, what to retrieve, and the recordset from which to get it.
