Senior Cloud Customer Success Engineer

Bright Pattern is looking for a Senior Cloud Customer Success Engineer  to join our strong professional team. This is an onsite position and requires work from the offices (South San Francisco or/and Pleasanton, CA).

Responsibilities

  • Determine, examine and file incoming customer’s questions, service requests, product issues and documentation enhancements.
  • You will communicate directly with the customers, both abroad and domestic. 
  • You should be fully responsible for the cases you research and take pride in your solutions.
  • We expect you to have broad SIP knowledge and some telephony (either PBX or PSTN) background.
  • Understand methods and approaches using RESTfull APIs.
  • Understand networking, firewalls, NAT.
  • You should be comfortable either working with custom Python scripts.
  • You should be a team player and be ready to work with colleagues, actively discuss the issue internally, brainstorming possible resolutions.
  • Be willing to constantly develop new hard and soft skills, acquire knowledge and share it with the team.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a Customer Success role.
  • Basic understanding of SIP and RTP protocols, ability to troubleshoot standard call flows.
  • Linux experience: at least as advanced console user (operation, administration).
  • Experience with writing scripts on popular scripting languages (bash, Python, etc).
  • Additional technologies: HTML, Docker, REST API, Ansible, AWS.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, HTTPS protocols.
  • Understanding of browser’s parsing and browser’s console working.
  • Familiarity with MySQL/MongoDB databases.

Ideal Additional Skills (not required)

  • Familiarity with Security certificates, CAs, encryption.
  • Experience with working in AWS Cloud environment: S3, EC2, Route53, Glacier, IAM etc.
  • MS/BC in Computer Science
