Senior Cloud Customer Success Engineer

Bright Pattern, Inc. is recruiting for our South San Francisco, CA office: Senior Cloud Customer Success Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and troubleshoot software issues and perform root cause analysis, which entails communicating with customers to clarify the data needed for the analysis, 
  • identifying the point of failure and reproducing the problem in a test environment, and verifying the fix. 
  • Perform causal analysis of production escalations and outages. 
  • Monitor production servers.  
  • Plan and implement production systems rollout. 
  • Train and mentor Customer Support Engineers in methodologies and best practices. $149,989/yr.        

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field and 36 months of experience; or 60 months of experience without a post-secondary degree
  • Experience in: Software architecture, components, and web and security protocols; Relational SQL databases; NoSQL databases (Mongo DB); Programming languages including Python, Java and JS; Linux environment; and Internet networking including operation of level 2 and 3 protocols and configuring network application level firewalls and proxies.
