Key Responsibilities:

As the Senior Director of Marketing, you will be a key leader responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive business growth and strengthen our brand presence.  You will understand the target market, personas, and market trends to help define the organization’s marketing strategy, and as part of the marketing team provide advice as to how to best market to help drive sales.  Successful candidates will be creative, innovative, detail-oriented, well-organized, and a self-starter with the ability to handle various marketing projects.  You will lead a talented marketing team and collaborate with closely with Sales and other teams to achieve our company’s objectives across all areas of marketing:

Marketing Strategy, Awareness, and External Company Positioning:

  • Craft compelling product messaging and positioning to highlight key features and benefits.
  • Brand Management: Champion the company’s brand identity and uniqueness, ensuring consistent messaging and visual representation across all marketing channels.
  • Work closely with industry analysts and industry luminaries to achieve positive analyst reviews/profiles, customer reviews and industry awards to maintain and extend leadership position.
  • Represent the company as a leader in the contact center marketing through speaking at industry events.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company’s goals and market trends.
  • Set clear marketing objectives and KPIs, regularly measuring and reporting on performance.

Demand Generation and Sales Enablement:

  • Drive demand generation initiatives to support sales efforts, including email campaigns, events, social media marketing, webinars, partnerships, and promotions.
  • Work closely with partners to drive demand in US and International markets.
  • Create key sales tools for use by both direct sales and partners
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of marketing collateral, website content, and other branding materials.
  • Work with customers and partners to create customer stories showcasing innovative use cases across PR, sales tools, videos, and for the website.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure marketing campaigns effectively support the sales funnel.
  • Lead digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, email campaigns, and content marketing, to drive website traffic and generate quality leads.
  • Optimize customer acquisition strategies and customer journey to improve conversion rates and lead nurturing.

Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Utilize data and analytics to measure the success of marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
  • Understand the application of marketing tech stack tools such as Hubspot, ZoomInfo, Salesforce or other system to facilitate the creation of leads and sales pipeline.
  • Ensure team members are equipped with the necessary resources and skills to excel in their roles.

Qualifications and Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field with 10+ years of experience in software marketing leadership roles. A Master’s degree is a plus. 
  • Extensive experience in the contact center marketing field
  • Entrepreneurial creative self-starter with ability to manage a diverse set of projects
  • Ideally, you will have experience in the contact center industry with an understanding of technologies, competitors, buyer personas, pain points, for use in marketing campaigns or programs
  • Proven experience as a marketing leader in the software industry with a track record of successfully developing and implementing marketing strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tactics and tools, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to create compelling content and presentations.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
  • Creative thinker with a strong understanding of the software market landscape.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
