Silicon Valley giants and leading private and public universities participate in UberCloud’s HPC Experiment, which aims to further the development of high performance computing as a service.
San Bruno, CA (PRWEB) November 6th, 2013
Through HPC Experiment, UberCloud aims to ultimately enable the wide scale delivery of High Performance Computing as a Service through an ongoing series of experimentation rounds that explore and discover pertinent issues in the realms of security, privacy, delivery models and more.
Participants include leading private and public universities from around the world, as well as some of the biggest gorillas in U.S. technology fields such as chip-making and online service delivery. A list of sponsors and participants is available on the UberCloud website at: http://www.theubercloud.com.
UberCloud selected ServicePattern, Bright Pattern’s next-generation cloud contact center platform, as the backbone of its global support function for this community.
UberCloud will use ServicePattern’s live web chat capabilities to route inquiries to the appropriate high performance computing expert from among the thousands of professionals across organizations participating in HPC Experiment. Additionally, the company will leverage ServicePattern’s knowledgebase and forum capabilities to support many-to-many interaction and best-practices sharing among community members.
Explaining his decision, Burak Yenier, Co-founder of Ubercloud, said, “Bright Pattern is a true multichannel contact center platform, highly scalable and flexible to serve the needs of our highly demanding community, with members focused on state-of-the art technology. Millions of scientists and engineers around the globe would like to stay in touch and communicate about their needs and find help for their computing requirements. Bright Pattern provides everything we need to meet the demands of this community.”
Erhan Cakmak, Co-founder and Vice President of Corporate Development of Bright Pattern, said, “we are very excited about our partnership with UberCloud. We think it’s a perfect match: on the technology side, both companies are dedicated to the cloud, while on the user side they share a commitment to multichannel interaction among community members across all media including voice, SMS and live web chat. UberCloud has, in the high performance community, marquee industry players and educational institutes as well as highly professional experts, all of whom need to communicate continuously across all channels to find the best fit for their requirements. Bright Pattern is able to deliver on all requirements.”
