Workforce Management Sales Engineer

Bright Pattern is looking for a Workforce Management Sales Engineer. A
Workforce Management Sales Engineer is a subject matter expert in Workforce
Management, WFM technology, and WFM best practices. This role will assist the
sales teams on sales opportunities. The Workforce Management Sales Engineer
will consult with the sales team on a prospect’s needs, and develop and execute
additional discoveries, demonstrations, and product configurations informing
prospects of Bright Patterns unique advantages. The Sales Engineer is a part of
the Sales Engineering team and will work on opportunities in concert with the
regional Sales Engineer and Account Manager(s).

Five or more years of experience in WFM with an ability to communicate
effectively about WFM best practices is preferred. This includes experience in
WFM best practices like forecasting, scheduling both traditional calls as well as
email, and managing chat contacts and back office tasks. The candidate should
lead the customer during their discovery phase and demonstrate how to leverage
Bright Pattern’s product to improve their contact center. This position’s primary
role will be to assist the sales team on WFM opportunities through discovery,
demo customization, and deep dive delivery to increase our close rates on these
deals. This position will also have a secondary responsibility of training the
greater Sales Engineering team on WFM sales techniques to scale up WFM
opportunities and revenue. The role will be a hybrid role with some travel
required.

Key Responsibilities:

● Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with the Sales, Implementation,
Channel, Product Management and Marketing teams to execute against
WFM revenue goals
● Successfully position Bright Pattern’s WFM solutions within each targeted
account to gain customer commitment for purchases, on-going references,
and referrals.
● Leverage demonstration tools to articulate the value of the product and
suite
● Hybrid role with offices in Pleasanton and South San Francisco, CA
● Some travel will be required

Qualifications and Key Skills:

● Extensive experience in using WFM software to forecast and schedule
contact centers
● Highlighting product benefits to prospects
● Desire and ability to learn new technologies and extend the boundaries of
or sales tools to target specific opportunities
● Demonstrating ability to influence at multiple levels with an account
● Strong interpersonal skills and ability to drive collaboration and influence
change
● Outstanding ability to communicate a compelling vision that inspires others
to engage
● Thriving in an extremely fast-paced, dynamic environment
● B.A. Degree in a Technical Discipline or Equivalent is Required
